N Series Version 3 subwoofers cater to the need for high quality sound at a more affordable price. With this, NVX redefined what an entry-level sub should be, and setting up the standard in sound quality for value-driven car audio beginners.
Think of it more as a 'sound quality plus' (SQ+) subwoofer. It’s accurate enough for jazz but has enough punch for trap. It won't win a world-record SPL contest, but it will make your daily driver sound like a front-row concert seat.
Not at 5.36" deep. While it’s slimmer than a VCW series, it’s still a full-bodied sub with a double-stacked magnet. If you try to force it into a pancake-thin truck box, it’s going to have a very claustrophobic life.
That clacking is often the coil hitting the backplate because the box is too big. The NSW104v3 uses a progressive roll spider to keep the cone controlled. Ensure your box is within the recommended volume range to keep it safe.
Not at all. The enhanced paper cone means it is treated with a moisture-resistant coating. It keeps the warm sound of paper but adds the durability needed to survive in a car door or trunk without warping.
