Audeze developed a new patent-pending Fluxor magnetic technology especially for the EL-8 headphones. The EL-8 headphones deliver nearly twice the strength of the finest neodymium headphone magnets. This new magnet setup reduces the weight of the headphones while also greatly improving their efficiency. The EL-8's also introduce an industry first in Audeze's patent pending Uniforce diaphragm.
