Initial IDM-1081 + Initial IDM-10

This combo is a perfect match as Initial created the two pieces to go together. The IDM-10 10 disc DVD/CD/MP3 changer can be controlled by the IDM-1081 unit as well as by remote. Additionally, the IDM-10 monitor includes an input port specifically designed for the IDM-1081 to ensure a 100% digital connection for crystal clear DVD playback and amazing sound. The system is great for integration with other screens too as both the IDM-10 and IDM-1081 include audio and video outputs allowing you to pass sound and video to other screens throughout your vehicle.

With an audio/video composite RCA output and a built-in FM Transmitter, this combo makes a great addition to aftermarket or factory stereos. You can either connect the audio to your audio input or aux input on your aftermarket stereo using the composite connections or if you have a factory stereo or an aftermarket one without input features you can playback the audio with the easy-to-use FM transmitter which wirelessly sends your audio signals through your radio frequencies.

Another great feature of the IDM-1081 screen are the 2 A/V inputs which can be used to connect your iPod, XBox360 or other game machine and any other audio/video external source. Additionally, the IDM-1081 also has a built-in IR Transmitter to connect the included wireless IR headphones and keep from disturbing the front passengers and their driving or other audio source. You can also hookup more than the included 1 set of headphones.
