power acoustik in dash dvd and all other P A Stuff
I have tried power acoustik amps, subs and headunits, all were junk.
This in dash dvd player was slapped together as fast as they could make one. It is absolutely horrible. cannot scroll through any track listings which means mp3's are scrolled through at a rate of 2 per second. The title listing is junk, example, meatloaf - bat out of hell turns into 01.{(meatloa)}~01.meatloa. and if the album is meatloaf and the tracks have the word meatloaf in them, all you see is the track number and the word meatloa beside it all the way down the page, no track titler, just meatloa. about 1 out of 10 albums will have the track number and part of the title displayed. It turns off/resets itself. volume control circuit is junk. at 1 it is loud - need to talk above it to hear other people, pops or mutes the sound at the 2 to 3 switch, and pops at 8 to 9. there is a huge static hiss from the headunits internal amplifiers ALL the time. Only touchscreen stuff is the controls that are programmed into the unit, you cant touch a track name to play it.
