The Roland CY-12R/C V-Cymbal™ Ride/Crash is a 12" electronic cymbal that "cymbalizes" (sic) breakthrough V-Cymbal technology at a very affordable price. This impressive, expressive dual-trigger cymbal provides natural rebound, inertia and swinging motion of traditional acoustic cymbals. The CY-12R/C-C offers cymbal choke control, making it ideal for use as a ride, crash or even a splash cymbal on V-Drums® systems as well as other electronic drum sets.

Compatible with all V-Drums Sets
Whether you're picking up the CY-12R/C-C as part of a brand new V-Drums system or as part of an older TD-Series set, it’s a great way to add a few new tricks to your electronic percussion performance. It also conveniently works with many other manufacturers’ electronic drum modules.

Superb Performance with the V-Drums TD-10 Module
The CY-12R/C-C V-Cymbal is certainly compatible with all Roland TD-Series modules, but it’s also especially powerful when used with a V-Drums TD-10 module. The TD-10 module has been expanded with the TDW-1 Wave and System Expansion Board. With this setup, the CY-12R/C-C provides three-way triggering (edge/bow/bell) for use as a ride cymbal*, as well as positional sensing which triggers subtle changes in the cymbal sound depending on the area struck.

* Note that the TD-10 is equipped with a single three-way trigger input, so only one V-Cymbal (CY-12R/C-C or V-Cymbal Ride) can use this feature in any drum set.
