These speakers sound great nice and clean the bass above 70hz is crisp... i installed a set of these in my uncles Chevy Tahoe on a Kenwood 4ch and they really are perfect. He has 1 12" kicker cvx and these speakers compliment the sub well

great sound
the speakers deliver the sound I wanted good highs & mid range. They
are driven by 50watts rms per channel. I would recommend them to others.

Great product, great price
Been using these for a few months now and couldn't be more happy. Super crisp and loud. Running these on a 4x75 Rockford amp. Kenwood head unit. Couldn't be happier. Very little bass on these speakers but they're 6.5s, not subs. I have a sub to handle bass

You get what you pay for
Great speakers for the money. I've had many pairs of kickers over the years and they never disappoint. They come with lots of mounting options which is really nice. Nice set of components for not a lot of money.

Good buy
Solid product. Good recommendation from Sonic rep over the phone. These Kickers replaced me stock/blown components in the front door panels. They sound very good. Kicker gives a clear and perhaps tiny sound but I later replaced my stock subwoofer in the rear and wow, the balance is great. Used a pioneer 8 inch and ran it off stock head unit with no extra amp. To my surprise the tahoe has a built in box for stock subwoofer.

I purchased the kicker speakers just to upgrade the factory speakers. I was really surprised at the sound quality. This is a very large improvement over the oem speakers. Glad I did, and went ahead and replaced all 8 with the kicker speakers. You will not be disappointed.

Kicker 6.5's
I brought these 3 weeks ago along with a pair of kicker 6x9's... Man these things are great, they give my system some great hi's, no distortion and no popping... I am glad I went with the kickers because all around they haven't failed me yet. The only thing that I didn't like about them was the grills... I have them in a 89 box chevy and hopefully I don't accidentally punch a hole thru the speaker because the grill is basically non existent. But other then that they are well worth it.. wouldn't trade them for nothing.

Very Happy with these
Backround:
I wanted to replace the speakers in my wife's car which is a '99 Honda Accord LX Sedan and wanted to spend the least amount possible for the best performance. I chose these because of reading other good reviews and I picked them up used for a very low price that I could not pass up. I'm going for true low budget car audio.
The Install:
Replaced factory front door dual-cones in a '99 Honda Accord LX driven by 15W per channel RMS built-in to the Kenwood head unit. Outer and inner door skins were completely covered in generic Dynamat super covering all openings to seal off the door. The woofer did NOT fit the factor speaker brackets by a hair - the 6" version DS60.2 would have dropped right in. So, I cut some mounting rings out of some 1/4" birch I had laying around and painted it with some multi-purpose sealer to keep it from disintegrating when it gets wet. I used 1/16" thick adhesive backed weatherstrip on the back of the woofers to seal them against the new mounting rings. The mounting rings are sealed against the door skin by 2 layers of the generic Dynamat super. I can't stress enough how important it is to properly mount and seal any woofer/mid when installing. Poor installation can make an expensive speaker sound like crap. The tweeters were mounted to the trim piece that covers the side mirror mounting nuts and wires. I used the surface mount angle cups and directed them as much as I could to the opposite side passengers head location. The crossovers are mounted with wire ties to an existing wiring harness on the inner door skin in an area that was under the armrest on the door panel.
The Sound:
With some tweaking of the crossover's high level switch, and the headunit's 3-band EQ & bass boost, the frequency response became surprisingly smooth. I tuned the EQ using a PA2 audio 1/3 octave analyzer, and then by ear though I probably would have reached similar results with just tuning by ear. The mid-bass is tight and deeper than most other 6.5" components systems I've installed, but not as deep as the old school Boston Acoustic 6.5Pros that I've had in a previous car, which I expected. The mids and highs are surprisingly detailed and dynamic. Overall, they sound outstanding for an entry-level component set. They are plenty loud using the head unit's power and get way too loud before distortion from clipping was heard. I really don't see a need to amp these as they seem to be very efficient.
Summary:
When I told my wife I was going to replace the speakers in her car she said "Why? It sounds fine to me." Now, after the install, she was blown away by the difference in sound quality. I definitely recommend these speakers. Now it's time to find some used 6x9s for the rear to get rid of the muddy lows the factory speakers produce.

Sound Good, Lacking Bass
Overall, the speakers sound good and are clear. They lack the midbass I was looking for, and can bit a little harsh at very high volumes. Have never had issues with them though. I did not install the crossovers, which would make them sound better, but not give it more midbass. Would recommend to someone on a budget, but if you have more money, buy something else.
