High stiffness Injection Molded Composite Cone, heavy duty magnetic system, and a Rubber Spider, Surround & Magnet Boot are only a few of the high end components Wet Sounds utilizes to provide enthusiasts with one of the highest quality marine drivers on the market.
The XS-12 S4 is equipped with a high roll santoprene thermoformed rubber surround to thoroughly accentuate its 11.50 millimeter Xmax. The drivers 500 watt RMS will only be achieved with proper excursion, and Wet Sound took no short cuts in making sure the driver will push as much air as possible.
The skin of the XS-12 S4 is built on a Powder Coated gloss black cast aluminum frame, with a fiberglass former, and gold plated screw down binding posts. Combined with a motor capable of 1000W Peak, 20 Hz low end, and 88dB SPL the XS-12 S4 is built for quality and reliability.
