The JVC CS-W120's small frame design makes it a perfect solution for a wide range of applications. From custom OEM integration to traditional installs with minimal space, the CS-W120 fits almost anywhere. Its 5-1/16" depth Almost makes the driver a "shallow mount", making it perfect for the enthusiast that lacks space but wants the sound of a full sized woofer.
The JVC CS-W120 houses a 21.30 oz Magnet to make up its motor and provide its modest power. At 150w RMS, the CS-W120 is perfect for a beginner's set up or for the seasoned veteran who is only looking to fill in the lack of low end in an existing system. A pair of drivers in a sealed enclosure is the most common set up, because it provides very well rounded sound quality.
The JVC CS-W120 was designed to save space. As such, it has been fine tuned to work best in a Sealed Enclosure, perfect for the enthusiast building a "SQ (Sound Quality) System". The driver is designed to work well within a fairly wide range of enclosure air volumes in order to fit anyone's particular sound preference.
