A must for a boat!!!
Will recommend this product to any sound user who enjoys the ease to play music without the stress of getting into a cabin to change a track. The functions on the remote are easy to use and the song display on the LCD screen is easy to read in the sun or total darkness. One product that was worth spending my money on..

Compatibility Issues
Be Careful that you Review the Owner's Manual of Your CD Player to Verify that this Remote Will Work with the Head Unit! This RMX55 Works Great - the Other Sony Remote is the RMX60! Looks just like the 55, but I used a newer remote with an older Head and the Volume and Track arrows were reversed. I learned the Hard Way - Sony has changed their Remotes and the only way I have found to Identify the Compatible Remotes for the Head Units is to check the Owner's Manual section about Remotes - it will give the part number of the marine remote that works with that Unit! Other than trying to Match these up with the Right Head Unit - the Remotes Look Awesome, Bottons are Firm and Feel Like they will last a while in the Boat! Lots of Compliments from Friends Already!

Nice product!
I love the look and convenience of this remote. I installed it on the back of my boat, above the swim platform. Works great, but my only complaint is that it has gotten some water in it. It fogs up behind the glass on the display. I plan on returning it for a replacement after boating season.

Hello
I use the operating sector Sony RM-X55M in connection with Sony radio CDX-MR50IP (naval program). Both components find their use in my motorcycle.
The processing and also the operability of the RM-X55M are outstanding, also with gloves.
The completion with Sonic Electronix and the dispatch to Germany functioned in the best way.

I installed this on my boat, my only complaint is finding the correct hole saw bit to drill the right size, but I ended up getting it with a 2" (I believe) Product works great, looks awesome, and we will see how well it holds up.
