Today, we know this company as Clarion, one of the world’s leaders in automotive stereos and other electronics. The company started in Japan working with smaller electronics. In 1948, they released Japan's first car radio and PA system. A few years later in 1951, Clarion released the first original car radio. Consistently over the next 60 years, Clarion has released industry-leading components that drive the 12 –volt industry to the next level.
