PAC IR-X Home
Bought the IR-X as needed a way to get the IR signal to my cable box which is mounted behind our flat screen TV. We have it on a wall mount. Have been using for 6 months without an issue, works flawlessly. Would recommend to anyone who needs a basic IR repeater for equipment that you do not have line of sight to.

Not for Uverse
Seems to work great for other wavelengths, but not compatible with the IR wavelength of AT&T uverse equipment.

works as advertised
Its plug and play for the TimeWarner remote setup i used it for on an LCD mounted on an arm, with the speakers mounted under the cabinet and the wiring going down behind the wall into the lower cabinetry housing the cable box.
Placed the sensor which is the size of an eraser head on a pencil just behind and below the frame of the lcd, so it would capture the remote commands but not have to be seen.
Ran the extension lead below to the cable box where it is plugged in, as the PAC IR extender also is powered via an ac adapter, taped the output of the device to the IR eye of the cable box, and it worked immediately without any worries.
