Since this is "Ultra Light," will it actually stop my trunk from rattling as well as the thick stuff?

Yes, but coverage is key. While lighter, the NVX SDBBP40UL uses high-bond butyl to kill resonance. For maximum bass dampening, ensure 100% surface contact by rolling it firmly to eliminate any microscopic air gaps.

I’m installing this on my roof liner, but I’m worried about the summer heat making it peel off.

This is a common fear with light deadeners. To prevent sagging, clean the roof with degreaser and use a roller to "lock" the adhesive. The NVX SDBBP40UL is engineered for high-heat resistance, so it won't slide if prepped right.

The edges of the sheets are lifting after a few days. Do I need to use an extra spray adhesive?

No extra glue is needed. Lifting usually happens if the foil edge wasn't flattened. Use the NVX SDRLR1 roller to taper the edges into the metal. For a permanent, waterproof seam, seal the joints with NVX SDST3 Butyl Tape.

I’m still hearing high-pitched road noise even after covering my floorboards. Did I miss something?

Sound deadening stops vibration (structure-borne noise), not all wind noise. Check for small holes or gaps in the firewall. Sealing those specific "leak points" with a scrap piece of NVX SDBBP40UL will significantly drop the DB level.
