Good Product
The Lock Pick SYNC-LP1 worked as advertised. The installation video was very helpful and complete. I can now use the DVD playback and input an address into the navigation whenever I want to. Overall I would recomend this product.

NEED TO SEND BETTER INSTRUCTIONS
I got the lock pick for my 2010 f250 here in Australia, the unit is idiot proof to fit after you get you sterio unit out, I needed to go onto a nother site to find out how to get the face off my dash, other than that I have had no problems with the unit and every function works well, the only problem I have had is with the sync unit with DVD's stopping after about 1 hr, they seem to get hot and stall, I dont think it is the LP1 unit ?

For lock pick SYNC-LP1 buyers
The product is very good, but they do not support out of the united states. Initially, it was necessary to do a firmware update because it crashed several times. I managed to download the firmware update on the site and it is working very well now.

Sync Lockpick for MKZ 2010
I purchased the sync lockpick for my 2010 MKZ 6 months ago. I did the installation myself with efforts. It worked for about 4 months. Then all of a sudden, I'm getting ready to go to work and my car and get nothing my navigation screen. I mean nothing. I wasn't able use any of the features of navigation system. It started working sometimes to nothing all. I was so frustrated because you never knew when it was going to work. It worked again for little while and started blacken out again and I said the hell with it and took it out. Yes that's right I paid 250.00 for device I could only use for bout 4 months or less.

Excellent Product
Absolutely the easiest, quickest, well made electronic product I have installed in a long time. Anyone with nav needs this product. The unit installed easy has excellent instructions and is plug and play.

Horrible support
The product works, but I gave it one star because the instructions, installation help, and technical support are the pits. My installer, a pro, followed the instructions and video to the letter, but couldn't get the camera to work. The instructions that came with the unit are inconsistent with both the install video, and the harness that was shipped, so they were no help at all.
The installer called tech support and did not get a call back for over five hours, at which point (after multiple messages and phone calls by me) someone finally called him and told him to splice into one of the other wires in the harness to get signal to the camera. This fix was totally undocumented. The excuse was that "something must have changed in the radio" of the 2013 Mustang. In the end, they finally called the installer back, but never returned my call.
I can only guess what would happen to an individual trying to install this product who is not a professional installer. Be advised: It is NOT plug and play for a 2013 Mustang. It's a difficult install, and you will be on your own.

Works As Advertised
I've been pleased with this product. Installation was straight forward and instructions were clear. The most difficult thing was removing the bezel on the truck dash (which was a pain). The only hiccup I've had is that my back-up camera, which was crystal clear prior to installing the lockpick, now has a foggy image with intermittent lines through it. Perhaps it's a wiring issue, but I haven't bothered to take everything apart to investigate. I don't use the camera enough to make it worth the effort. The main reason I wanted the lockpick was to allow a passenger to enter navigation info on the go and that function works as advertised.
