The Uniden BC72XLT Handheld Scanner is versatile, compact and easy to use. In addition to its standard scanning features, your scanner also includes CloseCall™ RF capture technology designed to help you detect and identify strong local radio signals. You can program up to 100 frequencies into the memory, and it's preprogrammed with service banks for your convenience. The scanner runs on "AA" Ni-MH/Ni-CD batteries (not included). All in all, this scanner gives you direct access to over 32,000 exciting frequencies. It's ideal for races and boasts Close Call RF capture technology to instantly tune signals from nearby transmitters. Frequency coverage -includes the most interesting "action" bands where you can hear police, ambulance, fire, amateur radio, public utilities, weather, and more.

Have used this product for 6 months. Overall I find this product every thing I wanted. I use it to lesson to public utilities and air traffic. I do have some minor problems with the keyboard but it easy to resolve.
