Meh...

I purchaced these to replace the stock speakers in the B-pilars for my 1988 Chevy Silverado single cab. The stock ones were not blown, just wanted the highs to be better. I have some pioneer 4x6s in the front and they have done me well for a long time.
Pros- highs are good and crisp, mids are fair for a speaker of this size. they fit perfectly in the factory holes, no modification required.

Cons- They couldnt handle the power I was throwing at my stock ones. I have an Alpine headunit and I have it at 22 or greater at all times, and they pop and smell of burning voice coil. My stock ones never made that smell or sound.

Overall, they are decent speakers. I would imagine if you were useing your radio at an acceptable level, unlike me, they would work and sound great. I wish I would have spent the extra money and bought nicer ones.

I put them in my 89 chevy truck and a few mouths after i put them in they blew up. I will never buy them again.

Good Stuff

Had nearly all factory speakers blown in my 92 Camaro and replaced them with these. I cannot believe the sound difference over the factory AC Delco crap from 92 (before they were blown). Why did I wait 20 years to replace them is beyond me. Highly recommend at a great value.

Not the greatest

These speakers sound fine after awhile but then after using them for awhile I started to here a rattling noise and a clicking and I have heard better sound quality before in other speakers so I would suggest better speakers I have never liked any of the xplod brand

These speakers sound great and they are holding up great. I would recommend these to everyone who wants great sound at an awesome price.

Simple Replacement

Replaced front speakers in a Suburban, easy fitting and sound better than stock for a reasonable price. I would recommend them.
