This excellent bass package pushes 200 watts of clean, continuous RMS power. The Cerwin-Vega subwoofer has a Dual 2 Ohm Voice Coil; meant to be wired in series, to a final impedance of 4 Ohms. This Cerwin-Vega 122 12" Vega series subwoofer requires 200 watts of RMS power. The included Power Acoustik D2-600 amplifier will compliment this required power by supplying a perfect match-up of certified RMS continuous power. Included in this package will be a single 12" ported enclosure with a red front face board to match your subwoofer. This package also includes an 8 gauge amplifier kit which is perfect to supply power to the amplifier. A 1.5 farad capacitor from Power Acoustik will be included, this will help regulate the battery discharge every time your subwoofer draws power. This will protect your central battery from being drained and leaving you stranded. With the Cerwin-Vega subwoofer, Power Acoustik amplifier, ported enclosure, capacitor, and Stinger amplifier kit, this bass bundle is great for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's audio system

An amplifier wiring kit that gets the job done
Had everything I needed, including 2 larger sized (8ga - 12ga) butt connectors, which I ended up using.
I should noted that I did end up buying a separate Stinger 4-Channel RCA cable as well. I didn't require speaker wire as I was able to re-use my cars wiring.

I got this to try because I was gonna run a dual amp set up and wanted to relieve some of the stress on the electrical system. I decided to run a single 5 channel instead so I never used it and Sonic was very allowing on returning it. it was however a very good price and somewhat visually appealing so no cons.

From what I have heard, this is a good capacitor. That guy who said he wasn't sure if it was the cap or his system, some amps and most recievers have a autoshut off mode on it if the wiring is off so it does not damage anything. I highly doubt it was because of the cap.
