Great turntable at a great price.
I had investigated various turntables and read a lot of reviews. I was looking for a turntable to start playing the over 100 record albums I have from the 60's and 70's. Denon is a respectable name for electronics, so I decided to order this player. It arrived faster than expected and was in perfect shape. I was able to assemble the turntable parts and cartridge in about 30 minutes. I am using the phono input on my Yamaha receiver rather than the turntable phono preamp. I think this system can stand up to any of the turntables in the less than $500 range. It is perfectly quiet, no hum, and works smoothly when using the automatic features or manually cueing. The cartridge is okay and would probably make many people happy. But I am in the process of replacing the cartridge with a Audio Technica cart. I certainly recommend this product and Sonic Electronix who is a great seller.
