Have this sub in a custom sealed box at the recommended 0.6 cubic feet. Very musical sub, nice punch and digs down pretty well for a shallow mount.

Perfect Fit for 6x9s - Unlocked Incredible Bass in My Camry

If you are installing 6x9 speakers, these NVX XBAF69 foam baffles are an absolute must-have. They fit my 2015 Camry's rear deck perfectly with zero hassle. Because they create such a tight, exact seal around the speaker, the bass response improved dramatically. They really help focus the sound into the cabin instead of letting it get lost in the trunk. Highly recommend adding these to any speaker upgrade!

Just what I needed!

I chose this to replace the old worn factory sub in a 02 Chevy Tahoe. After the fast delivery, I already had the sub enclosure out of the vehicle with the old sub removed. I sat the new sub face down on the front of the sub box and traced the outline of the new sub. Used a cut off tool to remove the edges of sub molded ring, removed about 1/8 in of the sub box and it fit perfectly. Wired the sub for 2ohms, connected the wiring, and installed the bix back in the truck. The sub sounds really nice considering that box is a little short of the recommended sealed volume and Im still using the factory amp.... for now! I would certainly recommend this sub if you could be install it the same way and just want good sounding bass using the oe box and amp with room to upgrade from them. This review is several hours after the instal so my bad for no pictures.

This thing comes in handy all the time really easy to use I really like stays on long enough to give you time to test multiple speakers good polarity test all good buy would recommend for someone who does audio installation very good tool to have makes things so much easier when test allbthe different wires

Great product wrong with Kenwood!! Do your homework on Land Cruiser installs before buying

Kenwood is a great product in my opinion. Delivery was fast and the necessary harnesses were with it. However the vehicle I want to install it in wont allow it without breaking discontinued expensive parts.

Great spare tire subwoofer

Absolutely great for what it is. It is heavy and sturdy. The size was perfect for installing in a CX-9 with a Bose sound system. The nut that holds it in place is a bit too so the first carpet is resting on the nut but the second carpet sits flush and I didn't lose any usable trunk space. The installation is a breeze and the entire woofer feels solid and of good quality. I purchased an open box - Great. The condition is an understatement it wasn't great it was like new. All cables were in the box and the majority wasn't even open. The important bit, sound, the bass is punchy and it moves enough air to enhance the sound given the size it is great. It will not shake your bones like a ported 12 inch but it is plenty strong enough and precise enough to elevate the sound in the car. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

full sound from a tiny speaker

I previously had the kicker ksc270s in the dash of my wrx. they were too harsh so i unhooked them for a few months. finally decided to try another speaker. purchased these. install wasnt quite plug and play for me. had to make a new hole for the second mounting screw in the plastic tab on my dash. was easy enough though. boy do these sound so much better than the kickers. these are much more balanced sounding and they are a little warmer due to the better "low" frequency tuning. these do not overpower my tweeters like the kickers. they blend very well and create a better soundstage. even with them only getting fed 16w from my alpine AA unit.

Changed from a w0 basswedge to this. From 300w to 500w. It isn’t necessarily louder by any means. It just hits harder, deeper, more accurately. Lower notes are a bit more pronounced. Whole lotta shakin’! Very impressed. I am no expert but I would say at the msrp it is slightly over priced.
