One for the moeny.
I bought this amp on ebay, then purchased a sony system used so I gave it to my Brother-in-law. He has had it for over six months and no problems. He has it hooked up to two kickers I thinks it is a little under powered, but sounds good.

Great amp
I would recommend the amp to anyone who doesn't need a lot of RMS power for a sub or 2. I have powered 2 Rockford R1 subs on it. I have also ran 2 Alpine 10 inch Type-R subs on it(2ohm each). Let me tell you that this amp has never disappointed me.
It runs cool and never has gone into protect once.
Clean sounding bass and highs
it has your basic features (Bass boost,crossover,gain,lp,hp,full)
The preamp out is also a nice touch. Makes it easy to run multiple amps.

Great Amp for the Money
This amp provides clean, powerful sound. I use it to power a 10" 175W rms sub, and it does it very well.

JVC, you made a good amp.
I actually got this amp for free. I've had it about 3 months and I am really surprised. The amp has not kicked off, into protection mode or anything. Now when I found this amp it had been outside for quite awhile. On a covered porch, but exposed to rain and all. I took it apart and cleaned it and changed the fuse and it now powers my 1400 watt Powerbass sub. JVC, fantastic job. would recommend that if anyone has a chance to
