Paper, DDC Finish Cone w/ Santoprene Surround:

The premium grade cones on the PowerBass M-154D subwoofers are blend of 4-layer, Non-pressed papers & wood pulps, & coated in DDC (Dynamic Damping Coating) to protect the cone & eliminate distortion often caused by a flexing cone. This results in an extremely stiff cone that is resistant to the environmental elements while remaining exceptionally stable even under the stress of high sound pressure levels. This is all complemented by the driver's large roll Santoprene surround which ensures that the user gets every bit of the 9.00 mm Xmax.

Massive Motor Structure:

Just like a car's engine, the motor structure of a woofer is responsible for driving the power. This large motor of the the PowerBass M-154D will allow your subwoofer to handle lots of power while delivering accurate linear movement for a tight deep bass. The heart of the motor houses a 2.00" resin coated high temperature voice coils that promises high power handling & precise excursion while maximizing thermal heat dissipation For increased operating efficiency a CNC machined one piece backplate & pole plate is used to reduce magnetic losses & maximize air flow keeping the voice coil running cooler.

Rigid Tooled Basket with Voice Coil Perimeter Aero-Vents:

The PowerBass M-104 features a thick steel basket that is manufactured to the highest quality standards to ensure max excursion, exceptional alignment of the subwoofer's motor structure & moving parts while providing an extremely rigid frame. The basket's coating offers improved damping & reduced resonance while the proprietary vents further ensure proper heat dissipation.
