The Blaupunkt BP 7.0 DVR FULL HD WIFI can not only be used for travel documentation but also for monitoring. This is ensured by the WLAN module, which is integrated in the camera. Remote control via smartphone or tablet. The 63 x 70 x 28.7 mm small camera is easily accessible from an app (available for Android and for iOS) using smartphone or tablet.
A live view of the recordings (wireless video streaming) over mobile devices is also possible. This allows, for example, after the triggering of the G sensor, to film a person approaching the vehicle. The connection between the camera and the mobile device is carried out directly via WIFI (Local) or via an Internet connection (Internet) to the Unieye Cloud Server.

I have had another named dash cam and I could never understand it, and I went thru 2 of them and they both kept freezing and going out. This one if you read the book step by step it's easy to understand,and so far works as it should. It is clear and and I like the way it works at night it also is clear. For the price it's great.

I have not owned it long enough to try all the features yet. It is a little difficult to navigate compared to others I have owned. More like operation a car stereo rather than a camera. I wish you could turn the screen off, it is distracting in low light situations.

This unit ended up being sent back. It could not keep the time and would randomly change. I also did not like that fact that the screen has to stay on while recording. It is kind of distracting at night.

Ease of use
I found this device to work great right out of the box. Picture is clear and excellent quality. On rare occasion it does not start automatically but it's only happened 2 times in a month. Mostly when I have been in and out of the vehicle often. Not sure if that is a reason or just a coincidence. Good product at a fair price. I would have liked a different mount option. The suction cup is a bit bulky. I'll likely look for a ram mount to use off the post of the rear view mirror.
