This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install either a 2” tall (Single-DIN) or a 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement simple and comes with a pocket that is installed below the 2” radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The pocket is not needed when installing a 4” tall radio. The dash kit is painted gray to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn’t offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.

Modification to dash nessesary.
Kit works well. Nothing wrong with the kit at all. Unfortunately the inside of the dash is kind of small for a double din to fit. It needed to be a bout an inch deeper for my JVC unit to fit. It would be nice if this metra kit stuck the stereo out slightly like the single din kits do so taking a dremel to the dash isnt nessesary. So be advised if you buy this kit more than likely you will have to cut a plastic piece out of the dash so it will slide all the way in.

Great Fit and Great Value !!!
This product was an easy install, so good it almost looks "factory installed " !! I was skeptical about the fit, but once installed, I was very pleased, aftermarket radios mount so easily and the extra pocket is a great add-on ! So go ahead and quit doubting the appearance, it matches my dash perfectly.

This was the only double din install kit I could find for my 95 s10. Worked great easy to install. Had to mod just a little for my specific radio.

everyone says there not a double din for ....
Everyone i have talked to said there is no double din kit for a 97 chevy blazer. Well they didn't see this or something. It works very well had to mod it a little to get the double din in the kit but looks very clean.
