can't go wrong with a Kicker
I got my single Comp C12 mounted in a 2.25 cu. ft. ported enclosure tuned to 39HZ. Which is recommended by Kicker. I have it connected to the 450-watt mono section of an NVX 5 channel amp. It's loud as all get out and is very impressive. Like most all other Kicker subs, it can handle beyond its power ratings. I would say the Comp C's are probably the closest Kicker subs that are comparable to the old Gold-lettered Kicker Comp and FreeAir series from the early 90s. I've always loved Kicker products dating all the way back to the '80s. Their stuff is hard to beat, it's at a good price point and it seems like they use high-quality materials as compared to these newer brands that have popped up all over the place.

Bang for your Buck!
I purchased this 12' Kicker sub and didn't believe when my friends told me their Kickers were louder than my 2 Boss subs in my trunk. So now im running this 1 Kicker and with my Boss audio 2000Watt amplifier this thing knocks really good! Im actually going to purchase another sub and would so recommend this Kicker sub to anyone looking for a solid deep bass sub.
