The higher the preamp output voltage, the better signal to your amp and the louder your system will be able to go. It will also help offset the loss of voltage when driving multiple amplifiers from the same pre-amp output.
The higher signal level will also assist in eliminating unwanted noise from the vehicle into the audio system. For example, engine noise or whine that gets carried through the audio system will drop significantly or completely when the TLD66 is installed.

This is one of the best things i have bought for my system. It will make your power so clean the signal it puts out is so clean that your system just sounds so much better I have two of these and would not have it any other way. You can not buy anything even close at this price much less do a better job.

Purchased to try to correct a spl distortion issue, that I thought was the head unit, line driver works good, but does produce a very slight ringing in my tweeters when receiving no input. Otherwise, it works flawlessly, and each of the six channels is individually adjustable
