Oooo, this one's fancy. Are you fancy enough for it? We think so. The JVC KW-V830BT, a member of JVC's El Kameleon line, doesn't just look clean, it sounds clean. It walks the walk, it talks the talk it...
Alright, I'll stop. Here's the bottom line, this headunit does a lot of cool stuff. But it doesn't just do it, it does it well. It's your in-dash gateway to your phone's best features and more importantly, the command center for your music. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay? At this price? C'mon, there's no reason you shouldn't hit "Add to Cart."
We get it, Android and Apple users can be pretty rabid about which smartphone is better. But check this out: This JVC stereo doesn't care which platform you like better, it just wants you to be happy. That's why the JVC KW-M730BT has both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay loaded onto it. Fanboys and fangirls on either side of the aisle still have something to argue about, but they have a stereo that works beautifully for all of them. Yes, JVC hears your "Thank you" and comes back with a "You're welcome."
Now you see it, now you don't. JVC's El Kameleon feature makes would-be thieves pass up your vehicle by blending the stereo right into your dash. And hey, it looks cool, too. Seamless dash integration means you'll hardly notice it's there when it's turned off. But man, when you turn that 6.8" WVGA touchscreen on, it'll be the centerpiece of your car's interior.

This baby is the simplest of plug and play. I have it connected to a Clarion NX-604. It worked perfectly and instantly. Very clear. Doesn't fuzz out when driving under a bridge. No complaints.
Antenna wire is nice and long.

Sirius XM Module for Jenson VX-7020
I bought this unit when I purchased my Jenson VX-7020. Hook up is straight forward. Activation was a bit of an issue. I was not able to add it to my existing XM accoutn, and the tech support guy had to send me to another department because of the module type. Anyway, the second person got the job done and it activated. It worked for about a week and then signals started cutting out with a "check antenna" message". Checking the antenna did no good. I replaced it with one from a spare XM radio and all is working now. My son had the same problem with this type of module he bought for his radio. Not sure what the issue is. I still need to get the antenna replaced.
