The HDM-COAX is the only receiver/transmitter product currently on the market capable of streaming HDMI® signals at long distances using a common, 75 Ohm, RGB coaxial copper cable bundle. As a result, we can provide long-haul cable solutions that deliver 1080p and deep color, along with HDCP® and EDID support, without any degradation in multimedia performance and without the traditionally hefty price tag. Today’s long-distance digital cable solutions are incapable of matching the full HD performance of high-end multimedia products such as displays, digital televisions and computers, much less maintaining the required digital copy protection. As a result, consumers and installers unknowingly purchase either lesser-performing, long-distance cables or expensive shorter reach cables. The HDM-COAX helps overcome the significant cost and performance drawbacks of current cabling products. Often, the technology can be used with the existing in-place cable infrastructure to provide ease of use or prevent extensive site construction.

The HDMI-COAX converter box will take a HDMI input and convert it into a 5 conductor coaxial signal. Then the coaxial cables can be run up to 300ft. to the destination of the signal where an identical Ethereal HDMI-COAX converter box will convert the 4 conductor coaxial signal back into HDMI. These converter boxes are perfect if the home theater system already has the 5-conductor coaxial cable running through the walls.
