The Garmin USA eTrex Vista combines the features of the eTrex Summit with a full basemap of the Americas, Atlantic/Pacific oceans, barometric altimeter, electronic compass, and 24 MB of internal memory. The barometric altimeter pinpoints your altitude and electronic compass provides information even when you are standing still. It can also receive position corrections from Wide Area Augmentation System, which makes the data even more reliable.

The eTrex Vistas basemap contains lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and state highways, railroads and coastlines. It will also come preloaded with marine navigation aids, so on land or sea, you will always know where to go.
