The only way to go
I recall reading some reviewers saying the chime was intolerable. That must be fixed as the chime and blinkers in my unit sound the same.
Installation was straightforward. It's nice to be able to carefully make all connections before getting in the vehicle. It is a bit pricey, but I think very worth it to maintain all original factory functions.
My installation advice is sit at a table with all instructions. Be patient, pay attention and double check each connection is what you intend. Write down ( or even photograph ) each wire connected for future reference. If there are problems when the radio is installed, it may help troubleshoot before you have to pull the radio back out.
All this said, don't let any of it intimidate you. There are a lot of wires, but with just a little study time it all is clear.
Finally, after my install everything works in my 2012 GMC. OnStar and factory XM still function. Although the satellite is now an auxiliary input and has limited information in the driver information display. Not an issue for me but some may not like. The only item that seems a tad flaky is after an OnStar call, my pioneer unit is returned power and must go through the entire cold startup. Again this is not so much an issue for me as I very rarely use OnStar calling, but others may feel different.
Good luck to all!

Great product
Really easy to install. When plugging a couple of the connectors in I feel they didn't push in and had a tight connection, but then they were snugged in tight. Really good product.

very impressed
unit has so many eq and crossover options....very good power output..
deck power to 4 fact 6x8s will work well even with 800 to 1000 watts of sub power with crossovers set properly.
just wish it had a rotary encoder knob...not a fan of volume push buttons

Can't beat it for the money
I've had this for about a month now. Installation was quick and easy in my 2006 F-150. The touchscreen works great and the unit sounds better than the old BOSS unit I replaced (purchased 10 years ago also from Sonicelectronix). I also installed a backup camera and I'm happy with the results. Bluetooth calls sound good and people on the other end have no trouble hearing me - light years ahead of the BT on the old BOSS unit (I didn't even use that for calls because the sound quality was so bad). For the money, this is a steal.
There are two things I wish were different:
The AUX and USB inputs are on the back of the unit. That's not convenient if you switch between IOS and Android phones, or if you listen to music on a USB drive. I had to buy an adapter that had AUX/USB inputs and attached cables and drill a hole in my dash to install it. It looks pretty good, but inputs on the front would have made that unnecessary.
Also, the interface for music on my iPhone, iPod, and USB drive is not very good. Choosing an artist/song/album is not easy or intuitive. Bad enough that I wish I'd spent the extra money and bought something compatible with Apple CarPlay.
But for the money, this can't be beat - great looks, great features, great sound, all for under $150.
