The Metra ASWI-ECL2 allows the user to retain the use of their steering wheel or rear seat radio controls when replacing the factory head unit. Works with Eclipse steering remote ready radios. The ASWI-ECL2 also retains the use of heater control buttons on GM vehicles. Assign the buttons on the steering wheel to any of the five specific Eclipse functions. The ASWI-ECL2 has a non-volatile memory, which retains all programming, even if the vehicle battery is disconnected. Great for convertibles, unlike the ASWI-X, the ASWI-ECL2 is not affected by direct sunlight due to its direct connection
