What is the maximum fuse size I can use with this holder?

The XFMATC is designed to handle up to 40 Amps. It is perfect for protecting 10 AWG to 14 AWG power runs. Always ensure the fuse rating you choose does not exceed the amperage capacity of the wire it is protecting.

Is this holder waterproof?

No. It is weather-resistant, not waterproof. The rubber cap protects against dirt and minor splashes under the hood, but it should not be submerged or used in locations where it will face direct, high-pressure water or constant saturation.

The wire is one continuous loop. How do I install it?

This is a "loop" style holder. You must cut the wire at the center to create two leads. Strip the ends and crimp or solder them between your power source and the accessory (like a Bluetooth unit or fan) you are protecting.

What is the maximum wire gauge I can fit into the ports?

The XFMATC accepts up to 14 AWG to 16 AWG wire. It is perfect for lower-current accessories like LED lighting, fans, or Bluetooth receivers. If you need to run 8 AWG or larger, you should move up to a Mini-ANL style holder like the XFMANL.

What does "Stackable" or "Linkable" actually mean?

These blocks are designed to snap together. You can buy multiple units and slide them into each other to create a custom, multi-circuit fuse panel. This keeps your wiring organized in one clean location.
