Understanding the differences between KN95 and 3-layer disposable masks

There are a few key differences between the two that you should understand before making your purchase. First of all, KN95 masks will provide an extra layer of protection when compared to a typical disposable mask. Disposable masks only protect you against large droplets and splashes of fluids while KN95 masks protect you from droplets, splashes and they filter out at least 95% of airborne particles including large and small particles. They also provide a tighter seal around your face which prevents any leakage around the edges of the mask when the user inhales.

The 5-layer design will protect you from 95% of airborne particles

These face masks use a special 5-layer Non-woven design. These materials are environmentally safe and they are completely latex and glass fiber-free. The two layers of non-woven fabric along with the hot air cotton and melt-blown fabric middle layers, allows these masks to offer protection against at least 95% of airborne particles (with a median diameter of 0.3 micrometers or larger). They are also designed to create a tight seal all around your face to keep you and your family safe. The XRGO KN95 masks are proven to protect against not only harmful germs and bacteria but also dust and pollen.

Comfortable to wear with a secure fit and seal

One of the biggest complaints of wearing masks is that they are uncomfortable to wear, especially for long periods of time. This is mainly because they are difficult to breathe in or they use uncomfortable materials and earloops that make them hard to wear. Some other manufacturers use materials that will harm your skin, our masks use skin-friendly Soft cotton that will be comfortable to wear for hours. With these XRGO KN95 masks, we use a breathable material while still providing the protection you need to keep you safe. These KN95 masks will provide a superior seal to what you will not typically get on most masks. This mask will perfectly fit around your face and the adjustable nose piece will secure the mask around your nose while preventing your glasses from fogging up. Our masks are also made with a form-fitting and adjustable earloop that will not pull on your ear and cause discomfort like some of our competition. Our ear loop design is fully adjustable, with a firm but comfortable elasticity. Therefore, almost anyone with any head shape or size can wear these masks comfortably.

Five Layers for optimal filtration

1st and 5th layers (Layer touching face and layer exposed to outer): Non-woven PP (polypropylene) fabric, Grade SS
2nd and 4th layer (Inner layers): Melt-blown middle layers offer protection against at least 95% of airborne particles (with a median diameter of 0.3 micrometers or larger)
3rd (Innermost layer): Soft, breathable tuyere cotton (also known as hot air cotton) with a fluffy, soft feel, good elasticity, good heat retention, and moisture absorption.
