The NVX NBTERM2 uses chrome-plated contacts for optimal signal transfer as well as screw binding posts for a tight secure connection.

Why use binding posts instead of other terminals for your subwoofer enclosure?

Binding posts provide a secure and versatile connection point, overcoming the limitations of cheap terminals. They ensure high conductivity and provide professional-looking connections using banana plugs, spade connectors, or bare wire.

Why are the contacts of NBTERM2 chrome-plated?

Chrome plating offers excellent conductivity and superior resistance to corrosion. It provides a clean, modern look that won't tarnish over time, ensuring your signal remains audiophile-grade for the life of the box.

How do I connect my internal wires to the back of the NBTERM2?

The rear features quick-disconnect spade terminals. You can either crimp on female spade connectors for a modular setup or solder your wires directly to the tabs for the ultimate permanent connection.

I have two subwoofers and am planning to create a custom enclosure. Do I need one or two of these?

If your subwoofers are in separate chambers, you’ll need two. If they share the same air space, you can use one and jump the wires internally, but using two allows for more wiring flexibility at the amp.

Does it come with mounting screws?

Typically, screws are not included because the length you need depends on your wood thickness. Pick up some small wood screws from the hardware store to ensure they don't poke through the other side of your MDF.

Strong, not too brittle

This one seems well built. It did not crack during install, so thumbs up for that. Some do. The springs are firm and smooth. It has the smaller width speaker wire leads on the inside of the cup.
