Why use binding posts instead of other terminals for your subwoofer enclosure?

Why are the contacts of VBTERM2 chrome-plated?

How do I connect my internal wires to the back of the VBTERM2?

The rear features quick-disconnect spade terminals. You can either crimp on female spade connectors for a modular setup or solder your wires directly to the tabs for the ultimate permanent connection.

I have two subwoofers and am planning to create a custom enclosure. Do I need one or two of these?

If your subwoofers are in separate chambers, you’ll need two. If they share the same air space, you can use one and jump the wires internally, but using two allows for more wiring flexibility at the amp.

Does it come with mounting screws?

Typically, screws are not included because the length you need depends on your wood thickness. Pick up some small wood screws from the hardware store to ensure they don't poke through the other side of your MDF.
