The NVX VS-Series is the perfect subwoofer solution. Designed from the ground up, the series utilizes excellent engineering found in the higher end NVX subwoofers. It features a non pressed treated paper cone with a custom tooled and optimized PP dust cap for accurate response and extreme SPL. Keeping the cone under control is a high-roll foam surround that is specially treated to give you maximum excursion. The VSW84V2 uses a 2.0" high-temperature aluminum voice coil that provides maximum current distribution and has a power handling range of 100-250 watts RMS. The subwoofer also features a shorting ring which is a conductive aluminum ring placed in the air gap between the pole piece and the voice coil former to reduce inductance, which in turn reduces distortion and allows the subwoofer to accurately play a higher part of the bass spectrum. All of these elements combined produce tight, deep and accurate bass that is sought after by bass-heads and audiophiles.
