Decent Stereo, some good features- but dated.
Had a DDX7015, and this is hardly a step up.
Granted the USB feature is great to have- however this has a VERY LONG boot up time (nearly 25-30 seconds), prone to a couple of crashes, and has no single hard-button for tracks forward or back.
Sound is pretty good- and being able to change the color of your buttons is a nice touch.
Little bluetooth support on high end phones.
For those looking at the Kenwood 814- literally the only differences between the two are the interface graphics, and the 2nd USB port.
Stick with the DDX714 if the price is right.

Awesome!
Great unit! I installed this screen in my F-150 SuperCrew in about an hour, the install instructions are very easy to understand. I was very impressed with the product overall. It looks very clean, simple and stock which is just what i was looking for. Works great, and is very adaptable, (bluetooth, navigation, sirus radio, etc.) Only thing is it takes a little getting used to the controls; especially while driving but you probably shouldn't be messing with it while driving anyway! Overall though i rate it a 10! Great product!

Great in-dash DVD unit!
I just finished the install of the DDX-7019 and I am impressed.
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon with the Bose system and the DDX-7019 integrated very nicely. Overall the sound quality is much better than stock.
I plan to install a rear view camera as well as the Kenwood Navigation unit in the near future.
I am very pleased with the Kenwood DDX-7019.

AMAZING!
At first this was a very tricky thing to figure out but Kenwood has an amazing interface that is easy to learn. The picture quility is by far better than other dvd players such as jensen. I suggest this dvd player if you are looking to buy one.

kenwood ddx714
this is an excellent system to have installed in ones car, especially at this price which is fairly reasonable. i owned this kenwood system, which is a name brand that doesnt get as much credit for their craft, but this is by far one of the best ones ive ever owned!!

Simply Amazing
This deck is perfect. Looks great in my 06 Explorer, have had many complements on how stock it looks. Controls can be a little confusing if you don't take the time to look at the user manual. One minor flaw i have noticed with my deck is that if a song is not playing on my Ipod when i connect it, it will say Reading and will not alow access to the ipod unless you disconnect it and reconnect it with a song playing

The DDX712 is nice!
I read every review I could on all of the in dash DVD players with screens for a week before making this purchase. I put this in two days ago into a Toyota to replace the factory JL stereo. Man, what a difference! First of all, for those do-it-yourselfers, you'd better have some good experience before attemping to install these new systems. If you've ever had issues with hooking up a big home stereo system, then don't attempt the install. The functions of this system are very complicated, and for the first time, had to sit down and read the user manual, cover to cover to understand all of its features. Not Kenwoods fault - it just has tons of things to adjust with it! Be prepared - If you pay $550-$600 for the deck, you'll also be shelling out the other $4-500 for all accessories that can be hooked up! I bought the Sirius brain and adaptor, the Scorshe brain (which allows unit to work with JL factory speaker system), backup camera, Scorche trim plate for dash, and seperate over head monitor. Wife was not happy by the time I was done! I would suggest, if you have volume controls on your steering wheel, buy the PAC to control, since the volume buttons on this unit are very small, and while driving are hard to feel. The features, once you figure them out are great, fully customizable to your liking. Sound was excellent, DVD picture was great, Sirius controls are ok, USB controls are good, touch screen works well, but don't have a Ipod, so haven't tried that part. Two warnings: 1) make sure you can drive well, without watching the road with this unit - or pull over! Many times I've wanted to change something, but you have to look at the unit to see what to change which takes your eyes off the road, quite a bit! 2)If you intall all of the additional accessories, make sure you have plenty of room behind your double din dash, since the wires and all of these little boxes take up a bit of room back there! Be careful driving with these new units, and rock out!

This unit is the best head unit I've had hands down!
What makes the Kenwood DDX-7019 stand out from the rest is its features and reliability. Since I purchased this head unit in mid July of 2007 I loved driving my car. It has usb connectivity that allows you to hook up a portable hard drive, flash drive or an ipod video. I purchased a 80GB hard drive and it sounds outstanding through this head unit. This option is far better than having a typical CD changer.
I have been a huge Kenwood loyalist every since 2001 and their head units just keep right on getting better. In comparison with the older DDX-6019, this head unit is far better.
So if you have any doubts about this unit don't worry because it is worth hands down every penny in comparison to similar head units from other manufacturers when considering sound quality.
This unit makes my factory speakers sound like I have MB Quarts in my four doors! SPEND THE MONEY IT'S WORTH IT!

Great Unit, No major problems
I have had this unit for almost 6 months and had no major problems. My biggest complaint is when you start with USB mode, and switch to Siruis radio, the sirius controls seem laggy. If you shut the unit down then back up into Sirius radio, it's fine.
Overall, very nice!
