I was pleased with the subwoofer and amp set when it arrived and after hook up. After 6 months the amp started to be a pain. Finally I decided to buy a new Alpine amplifier from Sonic Electronix and the Cerwin Vega sub came to life. Almost unbelievable. The package deal was great for the price but the amplifier that comes with it doesn't provide enough power.

Good system for the price
Great package for the price. Can definitely feel the bass, I ended up upgrading to a kicker comp r ported 12 setup and used the cv amo for a few weeks and can say the amp ran them just fine, have since upgraded to a stinger 2000 now and they really pound now, back to the cv package, I ran mine full power full volume all the time and never had a single issue, no heat no clipping no blown fuses nothing, for the price it’s a great starter setup, not over powering bass but you definitely feel it!
