The Alpine RS-SB12 Shallow Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure is engineered specifically for vehicles with limited space, measuring just 5.25" deep to deliver reliable bass without compromising cargo or cabin area. The enclosure features a 12-inch R-Series subwoofer that utilizes a front-mounted magnet motor and a lightweight, powerful neodymium magnet to achieve its minimal footprint while still delivering powerful performance with up to 600W RMS power handling. Installation is made flexible and secure by four adjustable, foam-padded steel mounting brackets, which help dampen vibration for optimized acoustic quality regardless of where the enclosure is placed within the vehicle.
This subwoofer enclosure utilizes Alpine’s cutting-edge audio technology to ensure both precise sound and long-term reliability. The Gen2 DD-Linear Magnetic Circuit technology provides better control over the driver's motor, resulting in lower distortion and accurate bass response. For thermal management, the sub incorporates integrated cooling fins and the CoolMount™ Dual-panel motor to efficiently dissipate heat, guaranteeing hours of uninterrupted playtime.
