Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This is usually "phase cancellation." Swap the (+) and (-) wires on only one speaker. If they are wired out of sync, the sound waves fight each other. Flipping one side will instantly bring back the mid-bass punch you’re missing.
High-sensitivity speakers (98dB) amplify every bit of electrical noise. Ensure your RCA cables are routed away from your car's power wires. If the hiss persists, turn your amp's "Gain" down, it’s likely set too high for these efficient drivers.
The VPRO69H has a beefy magnet. If it’s in the way, don't force it. Use NVX 6x9 1/2" spacer rings to lift the speaker. This creates the clearance needed for your trunk bars or windows to operate without hitting the speaker.
These speakers are massive and vibrate thin metal easily. Apply NVX 90-mil sound deadener to the rear deck around the speaker hole. It adds mass to the sheet metal, stopping the rattles so you hear the music, not the car’s metal.
Your "slide" connectors are likely loose. Since these are high-output speakers, the vibration can shake a weak connection. Use pliers to slightly squeeze the female connectors before sliding them onto the speaker for a secure "death grip" fit.
