The Kicker 52CVTDF102 is the 10" variant of the CompVT down-firing series, designed for high-impact bass in incredibly tight quarters. This sealed enclosure is a favorite for truck owners and space-conscious SUV drivers, providing a robust low-end foundation while allowing for cargo to be stacked directly on top of its rugged, carpeted surface.
At the heart of the enclosure is a 10" CompVT shallow-mount subwoofer, which utilizes a re-engineered motor structure to provide "big-box" excursion in a fraction of the depth. The driver features a stiff injection-molded polypropylene cone with 360-degree back bracing to eliminate flex and distortion. To combat the heat build-up common in small enclosures, it features Full Perimeter Venting and a UniPlate™ backplate, ensuring the 4-layer voice coil remains cool even during the most aggressive listening sessions.
