The adapter works precisely as advertised. The only downside is that the night illumination of the USB / audio in panel is not retained. It is however not difficult to add the necessary pins (8 and 9 for my 2011 Kia Sorento) to the connector and hook them up to an illumination lead. I overall recommend this adapter.

It doesnt list it but works for usb/aux on 2012 hyundai elantra. Have to remove dash around radio, ac controls and part with power plug/aux/usb/shifter to plug in
