The CP106LG-W3v3 MicroSub is a compact bass solution for vehicles with limited space such as trucks or convertibles. This slot-ported enclosure is loaded with one 4-ohm 6W3v3-4 woofer. The W3v3 subwoofer is one of the cleanest, most efficient, and best sounding subwoofers in its class. The W3v3 features a DM Optimized Motor System that provides constant and strong linear excursion that result in reduced distortion and higher bass reproduction. These woofers also feature Elevated Frame Cooling technology that delivers cool air directly to the voice coil of the woofer. This increases power handling and sound quality. The enclosure features top quality MDF (medium density fiberboard), cut using state-of-the-art CNC woodworking equipment, and covered with high-grade automotive carpeting. Extensive interior bracing permits the use of thinner MDF that maximizes the enclosure's internal volume relative to its exterior volume. Each driver is also protected by a black steel-mesh grille. It also features a side firing slot port. The flared port opening minimizes turbulence and improves overall fidelity. The port is a 1/2-inch high and 4-1/8-inch wide at the opening.

Every W3V3 subwoofer is built to exacting quality standards in JL Audio's Miramar, Florida factory. Each of the four models is a completely original design from surround to back-plate (even the bolts and screws used in assembly have been purpose-designed and manufactured to our specifications).
