The JBL STAGE3 GEN2 68CF is a premium 6.5" 2-way component system engineered to deliver a significant leap in audio clarity and staging. By separating the woofer from the tweeter, this system allows you to mount the tweeters at ear level (such as in the pillars or dash), creating a realistic soundstage where the music feels like it's coming from in front of you rather than from your feet. Built with JBL’s patented Plus One technology, these speakers provide more bass and higher output than standard 6.5" drivers.
The Stage3 68CF handles 95 Watts RMS per side and features a 3/4" Silk Edge-Driven Dome Tweeter. Unlike cheaper balanced dome tweeters, edge-driven silk domes provide a much smoother, more natural high-frequency response that remains comfortable even at high volumes. The woofers are constructed from glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene, ensuring they stay rigid and distortion-free during heavy mid-bass hits. With a high sensitivity of 91 dB, this system is incredibly efficient and will sound great whether powered by a factory radio or a high-quality aftermarket amplifier.
