NVX VAD11005 Great Amp
I was a big fan of the JAD900.5, Installed 4 of them. This new one is just as good but even more power. They also fixed the small annoying things on the 900. Such as the speaker inputs and power/ground input terminals, much nicer now. Nice and deep and also use allen screw, much more secure. Also the new one puts all the RCA connection to one side, so no more cable running in front of the adjustments. I installed with the NVX 5 channel amp kit, as well as the VSP65 component set and VSP65 speaker set and a sub of different Brand due to space constraints. Very pleased with the results. The 11005 is also much easier to mount due to the new case design. If your torn between the 2 amps, the 11005 is worth the cost difference over the 900.5

Incredible Amount of Expandability-Slightly Troubling Setup
The amount of outputs and inputs this thing has is insane, having RCA pre-outs is a welcome feature when compared to other marine radios. I put it in my 2014 Sportsman Masters 206 Bay Boat, and it looks very clean on the center console. Mounting was easy, provided you have the right tools (hole saw and the jigsaw is what we used). Wiring is going to be what takes you the longest, at least that's what happened in our case. Still a great head unit for the price!
Pros-
Very Loud For Stock Power
High Amount of Expandability
Bright Enough Screen
Cons-
Lack of software customization (Eq was lackluster, only providing presets)
Instructions for how to wire the 12v Constant, ACC, and Ground Should be included for novice installers

Great footprint and power
Love this amp. Tons of power, clear sound. Running my front 4 channels through a dsp into this amp, and a Dayton audio sub at 600w rms at 2 ohms. Very satisfying to listen to parkway drive and Mastadon

Love it!
I was one click away from purchasing an Alpine 5-channel amp but decided to give this NVX a shot instead after a lot of research. I'm glad I did. I saved hundreds and This thing is loud and clear. Built well and runs cool. Pushing Infinity speakers in all four corners of my Tacoma along with a Dayton Audio HO 10".
Friends and family have all been amazed with the sound. Great little amp.

Cape Horn 32
I'm using this to power 4 seven inch 200W Fusion Speakers and one 10 inch 600W sub-woofer. Music is coming from the NXV Bluetooth module. I have no other controls and my boat rocks! If you have good speakers you don't need anything else since the tunable filters are more than sufficient for both pairs and woofer. The included remote bass is useful but I find that once you have figured out what you like you really don't need to adjust. The subsonic filter is awesome. At full power, if you turn it to max the woofer vibrations in the boat drop substantially without having any impact on the sound. I mounted it inside of my center console so it won't be exposed to any elements other than salt air so the class D conformal should do the trick. I guess I will find out in three years or so. Absolutely love the way that it draws ZERO current until the Bluetooth module sends music (attach blue wire from BT to the amp and you're done).

Another Great NVX Amp
I was really impressed with my previous JAD900.5 5-channel amp in my older car (used it for 5 years). Matched it with a NVX 12” sub and it was solid. So when I got my new car I went with the new VAD11005 & a step up on the 12” NVX sub. I love it! Plenty of controls, solid power & great sound. For the price & quality I am completely satisfied with NVX subs & amps. Highly Recommended!!

Yes, yes, yes! Perfect
I am so happy that I took a leap on this. While I took one for the team in that I am first to review, it was well worth the stress/risk.
I did a lot of research in terms of comparing features and benefits. The units that I stacked up against this at first were the Kicker KMP4, Rockford PMX3 and the Boss MGV550B.
Right out of the gates, the Fosgate and Kicker were more expensive so that went against them for me. The Fosgate has satellite radio so that was the one thing I wondered if I could be OK without and I am because I would have had to pay the monthly fees AND I do not use it that much. I figured I download my podcasts and stream mostly from saved Spotify music so I am fine without it. The Boss ended up being a nonstarter as it is Boss and had really bad reviews for durability longterm.
My Polaris RZR now thanks me every day. You will too. Buy it. HA!

Can't go wrong!
Never having heard of NVX, understandably I was a bit reluctant. But the price for a 5 channel amp was hard to argue. My old boat had a fusion 5 channel amp, which was great, and is still going after 5 years, but also $600. The NVX is less than half the cost, and to be honest I believe more powerful. The kind folks at Sonic Electronix have always given me good advice, and they assured me I would not be disappointed with the NVX. They were not kidding. I have it hooked up to 4 JL Audio MX series speakers - two 650s and two 770s, plus a JL 10" M series sub, which is better than the MX sub. And I did opt for NVX's 5 channel amp install kit - definitely worth it.
For the head unit I went with a JBL gauge style PVR-275. It was inexpensive and had 3 sets of pre-amps, which I figured was important. I have to say, I'm floored by the overall performance. The system gets very loud, and stays clean at high volumes. I've had the system installed for only a month so far, but I couldn't be happier, and I can't believe a $6-800 amp would sound any better. Fingers crossed for years of enjoyment - that will be the true test.
