Convenience of ControlTalk
As with other Monster headphones, ControlTalk is included with the Monster Ultimate Gaming T1 Daft Punk Edition. In-line is a remote that allows you to answer phone calls, end phone calls, control music playback, and adjust the volume on select audio sources. To reduce the tangles, Monster uses only a single cable that connects to one of the ear cups, allowing more freedom while wearing the headphones.

Incredible Sound Quality for Electronic Music!
I had a chance to listen to a working model of these Daft Punk T1 headphones at the 2011 CES show. All i have to say is that they sounded amazing! I first listened to the regular black T1 headphones and they sounds good, but were nothing special. I then got to try these out and was much more impressed with the Daft Punk ones over the others.. The sound was much more rich and the soundstage was pretty accurate. I tried out a couple different of my electronic tracks (im a big electronica fan) and tey sounded great. They have excellent bass response, but it isn't overkill like the Beats By Dre imo... The bass was tight and just loud enough in comparison to the mids and highs. My first impression of these headphones was fantastics. I will get a pair as soon as they are official released (i offered to buy the demo they had at the show... but Monster said no. lol)
The lights are really cool on there too. They are powered by a battery by the in-line mic. The sound isolation was pretty good too. When i put them on, it blocked out the majority of the sound from the noisy Monster booth.
If you are a fan of Daft Punk and/or any type of electronica music, these are a must. Daft Punk worked with Monster to create these headphones... and they are so much cooler that Dre.
