Boostaroo T793-T (T793T) Headphone Amplifier and Splitter

Reliable since 2000

The performance of this small device is iconic, in terms of trouble-free service. I traveled extensively in several countries, and purchased my device in 2000. At this writing, the on-off switch just failed, and the battery life can't be controlled, nor will it connect.

I paid approx. $24.00 back then, and if it cost $50.00 today, Id'e buy another. The amplification of sound is remarkable!

Amplifies as advertised

The volume produced out of a laptop is half that of a desktop computer. This product does a very good job of rectifying that situation. I combined the Boosteroo with a Cyber Acoustic CA3602 system for use at my church. The results were all the sound volume I needed with the quality of sound that I needed.

Ergonomically, the best product for the money

Simple construction and ease of use make this product such a great value. Amplification without speaker overdrive or distortion assure that this device is a safe bet for easy solutions in a hurry. I use it all the time in my classroom and at parties!

Boostaroo -- Good piece of equip.

I have been looking for something to boost the MP3 player output in my truck so the audio would be loud enough to understand. I mainly listen to books. Why, I don't know, but when you run audio out of an MP3 player the audio output is always lower. This product did the trick. It amplifies the audio just enough to get that volume, and not damage the input of your system. I got the one that plugs into a usb jack and bought a usb power unit to plug into the truck. It also has a switch on it to switch between my Sirius radio and the MP3 player. I looked and couldn't find a unit this small to take up the limited space to store it. I couldn't even find something else that would do what this Boostaroo unit would do. I recommend this unit highly.
