Works great for me.
I think it works really well. Considering my factory antenna didn't.

Installed after factory telescoping antenna failed. Looks great, FM reception just as good as factory, easy to install.

I liked the short length and flexible shaft design. But hidden from view on the item description is something very significant. The stem of the base that actually goes through the car sheet metal is SQUARE NOT ROUND. For proper fit, I had to drill a hole the diameter of the flats on the square stem, then open it up to a square shape using a hand file. What a royal PAIN. I was too far into the install to back out when I made that discovery. That aspect of the design is incredibly stupid. Wire length was generous and easily routed along cab of truck. Antenna performance is acceptable but not noticeably better than stock. Would only recommend to expert car enthusiast due to installation.

This product is what it says it is and works as it should. The install, however, is more difficult then it should be. All it says is it requires a 9/16" hole. It is a square shaped hole. This can be quite difficult on a roof mount.

I have a mixed review of the antenna. As an antenna, it has worked very good, no reception issues. The install was a different story though, the mounting hole posed no problem being square, start round and file to final shape. Where I had an issue on install was the retaining threads and nut. As I was snugging the nut it suddenly slipped, although I was going through one layer of sheet metal, there were barely any threads on the mount making contact with with the nut, resulting in the threads stripping. I had to remove the supplied washer to gain enough thread to retain the antenna assembly. Another 1/8" of threads would make a big difference.
