Thunder 800 series subwoofers are MTX Audio's new 2011 addition to their already popular subwoofer family. The new Thunder 800 series woofers are available in a 10",12" and 15" size with either Dual 4 ohm or Dual 2 ohm voice coils for each respective size. These woofers will power handle 400 watts RMS up to 600 watts RMS, depending on the size of the woofer. Thunder 800 series subwoofers feature unsurpassed technologies that will set them apart from other subwoofers within their category.
The MTX Audio T812-22 is a 12" Dual 2 ohm subwoofer that has a power handling rating of 1500 watts Max and 500 watts RMS. The woofer features staple MTX technologies such as Spider Plateau Venting, which cools the voice coil directly for increased performance and power handling. The woofer also features an Asymmetrical Linear Driver System (ALDS) that allows higher output with less distortion by creating constant linear movement that increases performance and sound quality. To give it elegance this woofer features a glass fiber cone that provides superb stiffness-to-weight ration, which increases sensitivity and performance. The woofer also features an original MTX die-cast aluminum frame that reduces resonance and improves the quality in your sound reproduction. With compression terminals and a 428º aluminum voice coil wire, these woofers are manufactured to endure any playing condition, making the a smart and great selection when shopping for quality subwoofers.

I got three of these in a 6.14 cf box on a brz2100.1 wired to 1 ohm they pound I'm hittin 145 at the least I've had them over a year an still goin strong bout to get three more an another brz2100.1 an do a wall...I reccomend these forsure there almost comparable to the Mtx 7500 except the t81222s handle more power they can take 700-800 rms

Wired in series @ 4 ohms this sub provides the deep, rich bass to make any stock system complete. Wiring in parallel @ 1 ohm brings this beast to life putting out ridiculous but clean lows that'll satisfy any basshead.
