Phase Plug for Sound Quality
Audiopipe designed the 638SB speaker with an incorporated phase plug to provide quality high frequency response. The phase plug equalizes sound wave lengths which prevents the sound waves from colliding. Sound wave collisions can cause cancellations and frequency response problems, resulting in greatly reduced overall sound quality.
Sealed Basket Design
The Audiopipe 638SB sealed back design speaker limits the cone movement by utilizing a basket design that encloses the rear of the speaker entirely. As a result of the minimal movement within, sealed back speakers are incredibly durable, very difficult to damage speakers, ensuring use for years to come.
