Sonic Electronix is now carrying Audiobahn's new 2011 component car speakers. The ABC component series are available in two different sizes which are a 6-1/2" and a 5-1/4". Each of these models comes with a 1" neodymium silk dome swivel tweeter and a 2-Layer High-temp ASV voice coil. These components can be surface or flushed mounted and will enhance your cars stereo system.
ConeThe 3-layer silk honeycomb cone is lightweight and maintains its rigidity. Audiobahn’s use of this material adds to the speaker’s structural integrity and helps produce a cleaner, more natural sound for lower-power applications.
CrossoverAudiobahn has included a tweeter attention switch which allows for increased control of your component system. This switch lets you manually adjust the brightness of your tweeters by 3dB. Additionally the two internal crossover coils are strategically mounted at 90 degree angles to eliminate signal cross-talk.
Binding PostsEach stamped basket component system features gold-plated binding posts. Since gold is an excellent conductor of electricity, it allows low resistance transfer from the signal cable to the speaker and simultaneously resists corrosion.

GREAT speakers
These little speakers pack a lot of punch! I put them in using just my head unit to power them and they sounded great. Once I got an amp for them they SCREAMED. The woofers hit some good lows too. I would suggest mounting the tweeters on the dash to give more surround sound. They can be a little tricky to install so you may want to either go to the pros with them or do your research. The instructions aren't very helpful but if you know your car's electronics it shouldn't be a problem. I have another pair of nice audiobahn speakers in my rear deck but they don't have crossovers. After hearing these speakers with crossovers I had to order some for the rear! The sound is crystal clear.

I do not like these speakers. Usually audiobahn is very good quality but not these for 50 dollars for the set, don't waste your time.

these are really great
bought these for my car and they sound awesome. i have really loud bass coming from my 2 12" sony subs and once i installed these speakers and the tweeters really cleared up the words in music and now i can hear the actual words installed of just whispers. these are really good i recommend these to any1

don't do it!!!!
Mine only lasted about 2 months. Crossovers were huge & kept breaking wires leads as you tightened them in crossovers. Played off pioneer head unit & they blew. Hate to have seen how long they lasted with an amp.
