These speakers pack a lot of punch for their size. They are receiving 110RMS and love it, crystal clear highs and a surprising amount of bass and mid range as well. It almost sounds like little subs are mounted in the doors, very nice !!!!

Best Type R Set i have owned so far

I had the last 2 generations of type r speakers in my dodge ram they where amazing i bought 3 sets of these bad boys for my Infinti g37 coupe i have them paired up with two pdx m4's best sounding to me by far tweeter are super crisp the mid driver hit very hard if hpf is set correctly

These speakers sound really good. I am running them off a power acoustic ps800 that puts out about 150 watts rms. The speakers handle it with ease. They have great minds and highs. You can hear every detail. For lows I have a single swr10d4 that is 1000 watts rms being pushed by a Hifonics Brutus BRX 1600.1D and fine tuned with a clarion eqs746 equalizer. Needless to say my system sounds awesome. I highly recommend the spr60c component speakers. I don't know of any cons about these speakers. If you want good clear sound at a fantastic price then buy these from SONIC ELECTRONIX you will be pleased. Thanks Sonic.

Good sound at a reasonable price

I went from a set of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1s which were ear bleedingly bright. They Kappas were so harsh both my wife and I couldn't even listen to them (after 5 minutes we were in pain). The Kappas were twice the cost of these Alpines.

These Alpines provide a nice overall smooth sound. They are a little lacking on the mid-bass, but I have the rears set as subs so it is not an issue in the least. We really enjoy these.

Highly Recommended

I purchased this component system to replace the previous Polk Audio DB6501 installed in my Honda S2000. These Alpines have good mid bass and crisp highs. I'm running a Polk Audio PA 4000.4 amplifier to power them. For S2000 owners you need a speaker bracket for the speakers to fit.

its lightweight using neodymium magnets. excellent separates!!!! superb sound quality for the price.. looking to buy a pair again for the rear section of my vehicle.

Good value on upgrade

Both the site and product was recommended to me by my security/audio installer. This speaker with tweeter set is a nice entry level upgrade compared to the stock counter parts. The sound is a lot clearer and louder at a lower volume setting. Now music and navigation commands are audible with the top down.

Great product....great site

Have these in kick panels on a silverado....they are ideal for my needs of miss and highs....these do not disappoint...have them on 115 watts each approx and they get real loud....not to mention the price is outstanding

Great Speakers

These are definitely great speakers, especially when powered properly with an amp. My headunit eq is set to flat and the music sounds rich and full. The highs and mids blend perfectly and they output a good amount of bass considering their size. Absolutely no regrets on buying these.

Great Speakers

Sound Great. Powered by NVX JAD800.4. They have a decent amount of midbass too. The tweeters arent harsh to me. I also have the cross over set at 0. So sound fine. Tweeters swivel which is good. The 6x8 brackets that came with them were easy for install. Crossovers are tiny and easy to hide as well.

Great Speakers

I would definitely recommend these speakers. I like the component style speakers and these work great. I'm running them at their full 125 watts rms and they're killing it to say the least.

Good speakers

Don't really know how to review these because I don't know how to compare them. I first listened to them in a local audio store and they sounded very clear. When I hooked them up in my car to a rockford Fosgate p300x2 they still sounded good but i think they could use more power. Currently sending them 100rms and my deh-x7700bs needs to be a little over half way(about 35-38 out of 60max) to listen at a normal level while driving. I will probably upgrade the amp later on, great speakers though.

top drawer speaker at a great price, get some!

This component speaker sounds great and has top notch build quality. The crossovers are small and will fit in tight places. I agree with the other reviewers that the tweeters are a tad bright but nothing that the tweeter level control can't tame. I set them at -4db. I am driving these with a 60w per channel MB Quart amp and they sound great. The bass goes lower than I thought they would. They sound is very detailed. I think they do best with Rock and modern Jazz. They sound like they could handle a lot more power pretty easy too. If you are looking for some quality, clean sounding component speakers without breaking the bank, you found them. Sonic is the best place to buy them too. They package well and ship fast. They are a professional company without a doubt. I will be back in the future to do business with them.
